Failure Happens. Now What?
You’re going to fail in sales. A lot.
Sometimes spectacularly. Sometimes quietly.
Sometimes in a way that makes you want to eat a sleeve of Oreos while staring into the void.
It’s part of the job.
Not every deal closes. Not every client sticks around.
And sometimes the only thing you walk away with is a bruise to your ego and a better idea of what not to do next time.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
If you stick around long enough, the failures stop feeling like the end of the world. They start to feel like Tuesday. Because once you’ve bounced back a few times, you stop taking it so personally.
You start trusting your ability to regroup, reframe, and move on.
Sometimes failure leads to something better.
Sometimes it’s just part of the numbers game.
But either way, you survive.
And that’s what makes you good.
