The Best Clients Don’t Need Endless Convincing
They don’t need you to agree with them all the time.
They need honesty, clarity, and consistency.
The other day, I lost a deal because the clients didn’t want to negotiate further on price. That was their choice, but in this market, it probably should have been reconsidered.
As they started to process it, I said quietly,
“Sometimes we have to lose a deal to realize we might need to be more flexible on price.”
They nodded. They understood.
But they weren't ready yet.
When you show up that way, direct but thoughtful, they lean in.
They trust. They stay.
Simple. Not always easy.
