Losing a Client Mid-Deal Is Protection, Not Rejection

It happens to the best of us. You’ve put in the work, the time, the energy, only to find out they’re not using your product or have decided to work with someone else. You’re left wondering, what else could I have done?

It stings. But every time it happens, I focus on the space I now have for something better, even if that means free time for myself.

Usually, I can look back and see the signs. For me, it’s almost always an energy mismatch that I ignored because I wanted it to work.

When someone leaves, it isn’t rejection. It’s protection. You’re being shown who isn’t meant to be part of your long game.

The best clients, the ones who refer you, respect you, and trust you, always feel right.

So if you lose a client mid-deal, take a breath. You just made room for the right ones to find you.
