Why This Job Keeps Me Laughing
So I was with a buyer the other day, looking at a property. The listing agent was lovely, and at one point, we were all just sitting in the living room chatting.
My buyer suddenly spotted something regarding a shelf on the wall and asked about it. The agent, trying to be helpful, went over to take a closer look.
When she touched it, it fell off the wall along with all the contents.
We all froze. You could’ve heard a pin drop.
She did a quick recovery, saying, “No problem!”
But… I knew it was a problem.
Breaking multiple items in someone’s home? Never ideal.
It reminded me of another time at an open house when I casually opened a bathroom medicine cabinet, only to have the entire cabinet come off the wall in my hands.
In sales, you never know what’s going to happen on a showing.
