You Don’t Need to Be Loud to Be Great at Sales
Now, I’m not saying I’m a quiet church mouse.
I’m a real estate agent in NYC. I’m Italian.
Volume isn’t exactly something I struggle with.
But being loud doesn’t help you in sales unless it’s 1980 and you’re
yelling trades on the floor of the New York stock exchange.
The truth?
Confidence and customer service will take you further than volume ever will.
The best salespeople I know?
They’re observant.
They’re great listeners.
They stay calm under pressure and make people feel safe.
They don’t bulldoze.
They ask thoughtful questions.
They know when to lean in, and when to back off.
Being great at sales isn’t about being the loudest in the room.
It’s about being the one people trust when it matters most.
