Your Timing Isn’t Always Their Timing. And That’s Okay.

In sales, we talk a lot about timing. In terms of catching the lead at the right moment, following up at just the right time.
But what about when the timing isn’t right?

What I’ve learned is that the in-between matters just as much.
The way you carry yourself when a deal stalls, a client goes quiet, or someone says “not right now,” that’s what people remember.

Professionalism isn’t just for the closing table.
It’s how you build trust over time.
Because when the timing is right, clients won’t come back to the person who chased them.

They’ll come back to the person who respected them.
